As the oldest of the three girls, creativity and crafting have always been part of my life. From putting together puzzles as a child to learning how to crochet during college, I’ve always found that working with my hands helps calm me and focus my mind.

I’m excited to help others explore new crafts, discover what inspires them, and find a creative passion of their own.

I found a love of creating tangible items in my mid-40s when I picked some yarn, a crochet hook and watched a YouTube video on making a scarf. Since then I've learned to quilt, cross-stitch, and needlepoint. After years of claiming to not have an artistic bone in my body I started sketching, drawing and coloring with alcohol markers.

I have come to realize we all have the potential to create art. I'm excited to welcome you to our store and help you find the artist inside of you.

I have a passion for capturing the little details that make the world special. Photography has always been a way for me to express my creativity and share the beauty I see in everyday life. You will see some of my work on our social media and you can purchase some of my photography at Firefly Cottage.

In my spare time I'm an amateur oil painter and hope to bring some of my paintings to the Cottage soon! I’m so excited to share my work and be part of the family business.

I am a recent graduate with degrees in Art History and Museum Studies, as well as a master’s degree in Material Culture and Artefact Studies. Art and the study of art have been a passion of mine for most of my life, and I’m always happy to share my interests and love of art with others. I look forward to meeting you at the Cottage.
